During my unforgettable stay at Happokan, I was astounded by the exceptional attention to detail and unparalleled hospitality. Not only did the staff go above and beyond to ensure my comfort, but they also surprised me by returning a piece of precious jewellery I had forgotten-an act of kindness that truly set them apart. The cozy tatami room, complete with traditional tea and coffee facilities, provided a serene retreat after days of exploration. The room's heating was immaculate, offering a snug haven amidst the winter chill, while the free toiletries and electric kettle added a touch of luxury to the experience. With a flat-screen TV for relaxation and a soothing sink area for convenience, every aspect of the room was thoughtfully designed to enhance my stay. As an avid lover of authentic Japanese cuisine, I was delighted to discover the nearby Izakaya Asuka, just a stone's throw away, showcasing the hotel's prime location for culinary adventures. Happokan's meticulous attention to guest comfort and its seamless blend of modern amenities with traditional charm truly exceeded all expectations, leaving me with a lasting desire to return to this haven of tranquility and warmth in the heart of Hakuba.
